What is Anime Boston? Anime Boston is an annual three-day Japanese animation convention held in Boston, Massachusetts. Anime Boston 2022 will be held Friday, May 27th through Sunday, May 29th at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel. Anime Boston is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Anime Matsuri 2020 was moved from July to August due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and was later canceled after Houston announced the city would be holding no more events in 2020.

Ages 14-17: Anyone 14 and older must purchase a 4-day or 1-day general attendee badge. Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult to pick up their badge. We recommend attendees ages 14-17 have a parent or guardian close by for the duration of the event.
